Acquisition of EQX Materials (M&A)

Iwata Shokai Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Iwata Shokai") has acquired the shares of EQX Materials Sdn Bhd. (Headquarters: Lorong Perindustrian Bukit Minyak 22, Penang Science Park, 14100 Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia) through M&A. At the same time, the company name was changed to EQX IWATA Sdn Bhd.

The company has functions as a trading company specializing in chemicals, semiconductor materials, and construction materials, as well as logistics, and is expanding its business throughout Asia, with Malaysia as its base. The company's distinctive product lineup, strength in sales and logistics, and our cultivated chemicals, advanced materials, and building materials business complement each other, and we expect further synergistic effects.
